John M. Furrow, PhD has been in Christian education since 1986, serving in a wide variety of administrative, teaching, and coaching roles. After graduating from Philadelphia College of Bible with degrees in Music Education and Bible, Dr. Furrow continued his studies at Columbia International University where he received his M. Ed and PhD in Educational Leadership. Dr. Furrow has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences for Christian educators and continues to be active with ACSI accreditation. He has also been involved in school accreditation since 1991, serving and leading teams for ACSI, CSI and Cognia/AdvancEd. Dr. Furrow also served two terms on the ACSI Southeast Accreditation Commission. Currently, Dr. Furrow is the Department Chair for MS in Educational Leadership and Administration at Cairn University and serves as an Adjunct Professor in the CIU School of Education.
Beverley E, Furrow, M.Ed., PCET has been in Christian education since 1986. A Physical Education and Bible major at Philadelphia College of Bible, Beverley went on to get her Master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education from Southeastern University. Beverley spent several years in the classroom before answering a call to work with special needs learners. She is a professionally certified therapist with NILD and the International Dyslexia Association. Beverley has also been trained in Search & Teach, Wilson Reading System and Feuerstein Instruments of Enrichment (FIE). She is also an Irlen Syndrome screener and a formally trained administrator of the Woodcock/Johnson Achievement Test. Beverley is one of the founding members of The Educational Therapists of the Carolina's and served as the organizations President and Vice President for 10 years.
